Hey guysI am having a problem and it has been a problem for sometime and I have cracked my head so much just to solve it but I am not too good in this field to solve it.I cannot get good reception anywhere on the 2nd floor of the place i am staying. So let me explain the situation. I live in a 2-floored house. the house is pretty big and I live on the 2nd floor on the far East of the house. In order to make the inside of the house look pretty, the landlord decided to put the router on the far West of the house on the 1st floor. So now I am in my room on the far East of the house on the 2nd floor and I get really bad internet like... 2 to 3 bars max and it constantly disconnects and reconnects again.I thought, "Okay, let me just move my laptop to a location on the 2nd floor where I am directly above the router on the first floor, that should work, right?" Well it sorta did boost internet reception for a bit but over time, again I lose the connection. Also I play First person shooter games, so lousy reception = lag and it is frustrating. After a day's of stressful work, I thought I could jump on and shoot a bunch of players to release some of that pint up rage but I couldn't because of the lag and disconnection. Also I wish to be in my room surfing the net in private but given the current situation, I am not able to do so. I don't know what to do.This is a picture of the model type of the router. It is a TP-Link:Please help... What would you recommend that I do/buy?Note: the landlord doesn't want to move the router by the way. He found a perfect spot to make the wires not look ugly.Thank you for your attention.
