Could anyone out there help me with a question about what router could be used with a Vodafone cable connection? My mother who lives in Christchurch want to add WiFi to her setup. She currently has a Vodafone cable broadband (ex Telstra). I know that she has a static IP address configured in her PC and the cable modem plugs directly into it. What needs to be done to add a WiFi router to this setup? Anyone else have a similar setup who can make any recommendations? Do Vodafone in NZ help set this up for their customers as my mother will need help. As I live in the UK it's a bit difficult for me to assist. It's not something you can do with VNC.
