Hi guys, straight to the point. Is Cat5 capable in running at least 30mbps? I'm currently running: fibre modem (wifi disabled), running through 30m Cat5 cable to a wireless router, I seemed to have a drop in speed, from 27mbps to around 19mbps after installing the Ethernet cable. (checked through speedtest.net)Is this due to the limitations of Cat5? I have done a few readings about it and apparently Cat5 is capable of up to 100mbps. Unless cheap quality cables are just dead horrible. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.Kind Regards
