Issues with Internet connection

Hi All

I am at my wits end and don't know what to do so I am here for advice. I have recently moved into an apartment in Wellington, I was advised by my landlord I could use any provider so I signed up with Flip for their naked broadband plan. I was then told everything was good to go but it wasn't and have been trying to sort this out for over a week. The apartment was wired by a local firm who offer Internet but not at he deal that Flip offers . Chorus was called to see what the issue was and advised I had call the building manager who in turn advised nothing to do

With me. Now I have found out the the firm who wired up the building will not pass on the info to Chorus but advised it has been done in past . Called Chorus not helpful. So basically I have really one option move my service to the firm who wired up the network at a rate that is way more than other Telcos. Can anyone help or suggest who I can call
