Static Routing on a Netgear WNDR4500

As per my other recent posts I've now set-up the DrayTek V120 modem in passthrough mode behind a Netgear WNDR4500 router and all works fine.

I've then tried to set-up a static route so that I can "see" the modem behind the router using the following settings:

Destination IP: 192.168.1.1

Gateway IP: 10.0.0.1

Subnet mask: 255.255.255.255

Metric: 2

..... which the router accepts and reports the static route as active.

The problem is though, that I can't access the V120 web config page from a browser with the address 192.168.1.1.

Can anyone please advise where I'm going wrong here. Is it in the settings or the browser address I'm using, or both?

TIA
