Hi all.Im in need of some help.Just before xmas we brought a house and moved couple weeks before xmas, I had vdsl installed, (orcon) sorry dont have all the information from router as ive been dropped back to adsl2+ due to poor connection speed on the vdsl. From memory it was max 18000 Attainable rate down and 2800 upstream, Attenuation 226 down and 126 up.Here is a copy paste of adsl2 connectionim located in napier, from my house to a roadside cab it is about 300-450 meters depending on what way cable goes around road as im in a crescent, but i was told by orcon that im 4.5 kms from exchange, using google maps 4.2 kms so this is correct, this is why ive been put back to adsl2attenuation line tests say im about 1.5 kmsId like to know if roadside cabs have the copper going to them or not, then fibre to exchange,Do my statistics of router look correct and good/bad, apart from Attainable Rate as i know its crapAnd when chorus installed filter (crap, messy job with 15 mtrs of xtra length in cable), i rewired from filter to jack in the way i told him that he didnt follow and got length down to 10 mtrs why after i assume he tested connection was i left on vdsl and no one advised that it was slow.cheers for your help in advanceStatistics -- xDSL Synchronized Time: 0:3:26:26 Number of Synchronizations: 1 Mode: ADSL2+ Annex A Traffic Type: ATM Status: Up Link Power State: L0 Copper Loop(kft): 0.0 Downstream Upstream Line Coding(Trellis): On On Downstream upstream Downstream upstream SNR Margin (0.1 dB): 124 125Attenuation (0.1 dB): 220 102 Output Power (0.1 dBm): 195 122 Attainable Rate (Kbps): 14144 1001 Path 0 Path 1 Rate (Kbps): 13863 997 7904 960 Here is a screen shot taken just now
