Hi, I've tried searching in this forum for the answers but nothing seems to quite fit my situation.I moved into a new apartment about a year ago and have always been a bit confused with how this patch panel, telecom bridged module thing works. At the moment we have an ADSL filter plugged into the main line into the house, the phone cable goes into #1 on the patch panel, the internet goes into our modem which then feeds into #1 (this has an Apple Airport Extreme to supply wifi.)This works fine for us but my is what does the telecom ridge module do?Also I'm now exploring the use of the Ethernet cabling throughout the house and want to use this to stream a media server from a PC. This what the wall panel looks like normally, it's small so there isn't much room in here for the router, just the modem at the moment. The blue Ethernet cables have been tucked away into the wall. Close up of the Telecom Bridged Model, the phone and internet is wired to come in the line AP 7-1Close up of the Patch Panel, line 1 goes to the bedroom where the router is and line 2 is the speare room where the homephone isApple AirportAnd phoneThank you everyone for you help with this and apologies for my newbieness!!
