HelloI have a customer that has cable internet in their house. They have internet out into their shed by way of Ethernet over Power 500Mbps which they connect one laptop to. They have another EOP in their garage for a PC and also a laptop. The devices work ok but the connection drops briefly from time to time and its not that great when they are both connected to the internet at the same time. I think they are at the limits of the range of the EOPs or their power is not that great and causing issues. The wireless signal from their TP link router 300Mbps is not strong enough and they only get one or two bars on their laptop wireless cards.I purchased a Zyxel VMG8324-B10A router as a replacement for their TP link but the connection is even worse and the EOPs drop the connection more and their wireless cards in their laptops won't even pickup the router's signal.I plugged in an access point to one of the EOPs but the Lan light flickers on the AP and goes out from time to time and is worse than just plugging the laptop directly into the EOP.Does anyone have any suggestions of what short of setup will be more stable or what quality router I could use. Their TP link wireless is only 300Mbps. I could try a 500Mbps router and they could just connect wirelessly but that might not be any better than what they already have.ThanksFord
