Hi everyone - newbie here and hoping for help.We have just had fibre Internet installed through chorus/spark. I have realized (now) that the modem/router supplied by spark is not going to cut the mustard as far as service delivery.....it doesn't have an extended range as needed and even drops the wireless when the device is about 1 metre or less from the router yet the hard wired laptop works well in the same place :/ I have found out that essentially the ONT is the modem and I only need to purchase a good router. 1. I am after some recommendations of good, easy to install router giving good coverage for teenagers and family running multiple devices in home. A lot of what I am reading is that some of the setups can be difficult, depending on brand, to complete and helplines can be minimal. I am hoping for one I can plug in and connect without too much stress. Or2. Could I possibly use the existing Belkin modem router (model F703402v1) I have been using for ADSL and set it up as a router for fibre? Or even a booster if I need to purchase another router? This brand has been great for the last few years and I haven't had any issues with it.Thinking the best thing overall may also be to cat5 (yes have been reading a little) to the main laptops/pcs used but would still like good wifi. Thanks in advance :)
