Modem or Router Stopped Working

I've have a Netgear WNDR 3700 (running Gargoyle) and a Draytek Vigor 120 in bridged mode, connecting to Vodafone via ADSL. It's all been working fine for months, but then yesterday afternoon it lost the internet connection for no apparent reason. The Draytek says Showtime and 10Mb/s down, 1 Mb/s up - which is normal for our place, but there is no internet connection.My first thought was Vodafne, so I rang them. After the customary half hour + wait, they told me the connection was fine from their side. Sure enough, when I hooked up my old Vodafone supplied modem/router, the connection is fine. So I'm a bit stumped. Why would the Draytek or Netgear just stop working? And where do I start to debug this? I'm guessing, my first step would be to just connect the Draytek directly to a laptop and see if I can connect through that without the Netgear router. Is that a good place to start? If so, where can I find some instructions around configuring that (as it's configured for bridge mode at the moment)?
