My parents have a Technicolour TGN582n Spark-issued router on their ADSL2 connection. The wireless is pretty weak, there's not enough lan ports on it and my son isn't able to play Splatoon online multiplayer on his Wii U because of some kind of issue which I have struggled to diagnose (but it works fine at our own house). I tried to add the Wii to the DMZ of the router but could not make it work - searches suggest I'd be putting the entire router into DMZ mode, and when I followed the instructions, I could find the Wii in the network list but not in the drop-down for the final option to activate DMZ. So, long story short, I'm after something with an easily-configurable DMZ, good wireless coverage and more than 3 lan ports that will work on Spark ADSL. I'm not hugely tech-savvy but am confident enough to configure a new router to Spark's settings. Does anyone have a recommendation? Ideally under $250. As an alternative, my sister has a router sitting around somewhere that might be an option. Is it possible to put the Technicolour into bridge mode?Edited for auto-correct fail.
