Can any ADSL2+ modem reach line capacity in real-world download?

Hi all,I'll try to keep this brief. I'm looking at buying a new modem because my Vodafone (Huawei) modem is a POS really. I actually use Telecom because they update their nameservers almost instantly and Vodafone take 24-48 hours (!!).Basically, I'm wondering if any brand of modem achieves (e.g. speedtest.net) what it says it is connected as (modem's control panel). I've just moved house and sadly I can't get cable on this street so ADSL it is, and it's pretty slow. Here's the thing. At my old house:Modem stated download link: 21 MbpsReality (speedtest.net, etc.): 17 MbpsNew house:Modem: 18.5 MbpsReality: 15 Mbps (Crying)Is there any way to achieve that line speed using a decent modem? Anyone have experience with this?Cheers,James
