Hi all,I'm new to this forum, apologies if this subject has been posted previously but I couldn't find a similar thread.A friend just upgraded to Orcon's Fibre network and is unable to connect to the Internet via his Windows 8 Laptop. he phoned Orcon support who apparently suggested it's a Windows issue, so he contacted MS support who advised him to download the latest drivers for his router, which is a new NetComm NF4V.This is where I came in, being unfamiliar with such terms, he asked me to find the drivers and install them. (I used to be a little tech-savvy, hence why he aked for my assistance - although I have slipped waaay behind the times). Thusly I went to NetComm's website, downloaded the latest firmware and followed their instructions and installed it. Sinple enough. However the last step in the firmware instructions was to restore the router's factory defaults, which I did. Since then, in the list of available wifi networks, Orcon-Wireless has disappeared, replaced by one named NetComm and the router's name and password have changed. I've tried connecting to the newly named NetComm network, but to no avail, and other devices won't connect either.I spoke with Orcon's helpdesk, but they couldn't figure out why Orcon-Wireless had disappeared in the list of availabe networks.Does anyone out there know what's gone wrong here and how we can get things corrected? Many thanks,StinkHammer
