Getting my Huawei HG659 to route traffic to my Cisco network

Hi there,

I have recently gotten a VDSL connection and a Huawei HG659 modem router. I am wanting to use this router to provide internet to my managed Cisco network however I am having some trouble with setting up the routing.

The LAN ports and WLAN on the Huawei Router are all within the 192.168.1.0 network. My other managed network is 192.168.2.0. The Cisco router is plugged from G0/0 (ip 192.168.1.100) into a LAN port on the Huawei router.

I set up this very config at my work using an ADSL router and setting a static route on so that all traffic for the 192.168.2.0 network was directed to the 192.168.1.100 address (the cisco router address where it would be properly routed from there)

The issue I am having with this Huawei Router is that in the routing rules it makes me select one of the WAN ports (Ethernet WAN or DLS) as the exit interface instead of just sending it to the ip address.

Anyways for some reason I am having trouble getting this to work. If anyone has done this or knows how to configure these blasted Huawei Routers please help.

Thanks in advance.
