Hi All,My home network is driven by a D-Link DIR-655 (HW Version A3, Firmware 1.37NA) connected to a Vodafone cable.Internally I have the usual array of PC's, laptops, Ipads, tablets, mobile phones, Chromecast, and a Sonos Audio system. A few devices are cabled to the router, but most connect via Wifi and have reserved IP addresses based on their MAC address. Security is set to WPA2 / AES.Everything has been running pretty well, with the exception of the odd Sonos dropout which I'd put down to possible interference from neighbouring wifi networks. I'd also experienced some reluctance for the Sonos control app to connect when running on my Galaxy S4 Mini, and put that down to a known Sonos bug. However in the last few days I've had problems with my entire wifi network going down repeatedly whenever the S4 Mini is connected. After about one minute the D-Link flashes all its panel lights together and then restarts. WAN Connection Uptime is reset so I'm assume the whole device has restarted. It will stay up for about a minute and then repeat, and repeat. Turning off Wifi on the S4 minifixes the problem instantly. I can't find anything telling in the router log file. It recognises the S4's MAC and allocates the appropriate IP address and then about two minutes later is reconnecting to all the devices again. As far as I can tell, at work the S4 mini stays happily connected to the company's wifi all day.I've tried changing a few router settings, restored the official Vodafone DNS addresses and feel that anything I try now is just clutching at straws. Perhaps it's just time to get a new router that supports 5GHz, and AC and all the latest advancements, but I'd still like to get to the bottom of this, so all thoughts and suggestions from clever network people out there will be gratefully received. Cheers,Pete.
