Greetings.Im looking at upgrading my decent Vodafone Station to VDSL maybe a used Huawei HG659 ex Vodafone looks like the berries.What Im wondering since Im on Flip, are features of these modems locked down with proprietary firmware eg there are Spark models and Vodafone models.If yes, anyone have any idea whether the proprietary firmware effectively Locks it to its owner network. I believe Spark and Vodafone have VOIP locked down otherwise they appear to be fine.Thanks.
