So I have an Asus RT-AC5300 router here and wanted to connect it up to my Netgear DGND3700 on modem mode only. I read that perhaps the Netgear doesn't support PPPoA to PPPoE even if I set it to 'Modem Only', is that correct?If I play around with the DHCP on both, apparently I will get double NAT which is not recommended, but will the internet still work? I think I will be suggested here to get myself a Draytek Vigor 120 as that supports PPPoA to PPPoE. Cheers!
