Got a mate with Netcomm NB604N Modem/Router - and its got an USB port, he thought sweet - add an External HDD and share files off that between 2 computers....Been helping him set it up - followed the instructions provided by netcomm's website word for word - it works perfectly on the main computer - but when setting it up on 2nd computer - the trouble starts - it picks up the hdd - but says no files exists - gives a "file system error 12003" - emailed netcomm and they've been great trying to help - but we're starting to feel they're stumped too coz they've resorted to telling us to delete the network - and start from scratch - which we did....and now we cant even get the external hdd displaying correctly on either laptops...I also reformatted the hdd for him in case there was a corrupted file on there that was causing an issue - but no change..Both laptops are using windows 7 home premium and the HDD is a WD 120gb HDDhttp://support.netcommwireless.com/product/xdsl/nb604n This is the modem/router webpage if anyone needs it...Is there another method of sharing an hdd between 2 computers via the router's USB port so its accessible through wifi?
