Looking to extend Wifi to sleepout with VF HG659.

Appreciate your input into my situation.

I have "googled" what I what to do in several versions but to be honest need to establish what exactly what I want in the first place.

First my specs, I have 2 Degrees fibre coming into the main house (behind the fridge) (dont get me started) with that is the regular Fritzbox.

My plan is to use my old HG659 from my previous VF VDSL connection out in the sleepout so I can extend the wifi and use a printer out there.

Trouble is am I needing to bridge or just extending ? If so can I plug the printer (non wifi but can print when plugged into current Fritzbox).

I have tried bridging but it didn't seem to work and I needed to do a hard reset. I have updated both routers firmware to make sure everything I up to date.

There is lots on Google but I need to nail down exactly what is needed in the first place.
