Live in Auckland, but in the Whitford area which is semi rural and can't get fibre so have just upgraded to VDSL with Spark. They sent a new modem (model HG659b) which before being switched we connected with the ADSL cable. After switching we attempted to connect with the provided VDSL cable but surprise, surprise it doesn't fit our jack point (which is a dedicated internet line) or the two filters provided which are both ADSL .A friend suggested we need a RJ45 adapter but when I rang Spark I was told that it's OK to use the ADSL cable?Sounds a bit sus . Just wondering if anyone can verify that.CheersJohn
