Hi All,New member here and am not the most savy when it comes networking/broadband issues so bare with me.....I live in Auckland and given we aren't expected to have UFB in our area for some time have been on vodafone's unlimited VDSL service for around 18 months. Long story short, I've never noticed an improvement in speed since upgrading from ADSL. The standard online internet speed test says we are achieving 10.9mbs download speeds but in practice whilst surfing the internet or streaming netflix the speeds don't seem to be anywhere near this (usually around 0.2 - 0.3 mbs when downloading a large file).Summary of our setup.- Vodafone VDSL with the standard HG659 modem/router- A ubiquiti unifi accesspoint due to it being a large house that struggles to get good wifi signal throughout- The closest chorus cabinet is 140m from our house and the next closest around 500m.- Cat 5 Ethernet and phone lines to most rooms in the house- An alarm system that i believe is connected to the phone line- A security camera system with a recorder that is somehow connected to our network so the feeds are viewable from anywhere (I actually noticed a drop in internet speed after this was installed but it was already very slow prior).A few devices:- 4 smart phones and two ipads- Two smart tvs with netflix - one connected via wifi and the other via Ethernet- Three computers all on wifi.- A ps4 connected via EthernetI'm aware VDSL requires a masterfilter to be installed to achieve good speeds. I requested this when I upgraded with vodafone but the Chorus guy seemed disinterested, took a glimpse at our networking cabinet inside the house and said one was already installed. My question is....is it normal to have download speeds of 0.2-0.3 mbs and if not how should I go about trouble shooting potential issues?Cheers
