Upgraded my home fibre to Max/500 because why not, right. I have no use for Gigabit speeds, but it's so dam cheap. Only problem is my speedtests have been a little bit rubbish:ISP is Devoli (who we use for wholesale at work), so testing to Devoli Auckland server (but other servers, like Spark's, yield similar results).Connection is on VLAN10 using PPPoE.All tests done on the Windows 10 app, gigabit connection etc.Upload seems fine, but that download just won't go up! My immediate thought was the router couldn't hack it, but during this test the CPU doesn't get close to topping out, sitting at around 30%.So with our wholesale account, we get some access to the Chorus testing tools:So I thought I would ask on here, before I go to support and ask the same question, what's the deal there? Does "transmission errors" according to this tool equate to packet loss? I would of thought if there was packet loss happening it would impact lots of other things, but all "normal" stuff works fine - just can't hit that sweet 900Mbps on speedtest!!
