Ubiquiti airCube or MikroTik RBD52G? Recommendations for second Wifi AP?

I'm currently running an old Netcomm NF8AC router as my downstairs wifi AP. I have an ethernet cable run upstairs to my router (which I like very much, a Synology RT1900ac). I don't want to replace this.

I don't need a fancy mesh network, I just like to have a second AP with a different SSID for my downstairs wifi.

My requirements are that it is dual band, and also has >3 gigabit ethernet ports for HTPC and TV.

Has anyone tried either the MikroTik RBD52G or the Ubiquiti airCube

I have heard good things about Ubiquiti gear but have not used it myself. MiktoTik brand is unknown to me.

Any thoughts?
