Hi All, hopefully a simple answer but I thought I would ask anyway. Is there a way to get a Telecom 3G USB Stick (either a Sierra Wireless Compass 885 or ZTE MF636) to work with the Vodafone HG556a Router using the USB uplink option. Or is there a Telecom USB stick which does work? When I plug in either of the above usb sticks the router picks them up as usb mass storage (they both have SD card slots in them) but not as a modem.I know this is a long shot but thought I would ask since we have ended up with a spare HG556a router but all our usb sticks are on telecom. If this doesn't work we can purchase another router which would be compatible with the above sticks (I noticed TP-LINK do them) but would prefer to reuse what we already have.let me know if the above is possible.Cheers,
↧
