Wireless access point that survives power cycles

I've got a rather unique requirement for a decent wireless access point (the current one I have isn't working very well).Client has a wireless access point (separate from their ADSL router) in their offices. Due to circumstances outside my control, the power plug the AP is plugged into gets switched off every night. It's not feasible to run power to the AP from a circuit that stays on 24/7 (although an AP that supports PoE could be a solution as I could run power from the always on switch). The big issue I have is every three/four months, the AP loses all it's settings, which I think is due to power being constantly switched on and off. This isn't good as it means all the neighbours get access to an open wireless.Any ideas of a good AP that can handle being switched off all the time?
