Internet connection dropping out - TP-Link (TD-W8968) + Flip ISP

Hi guys,I've had a search on the site but can't really find anything to assist so hoping someone may be able to spot something in the information I provide to help resolve then issue. This issue of our internet connection dropping out started early August and I first logged this with Flip on 11 August.When it drops out we lose connectivity on our desktop, laptop and smartphones. When I first contacted Flip I had tried:

Several hard resets of the modem router TP-Link TD-W8960N (physical reset and wiping parameters) and re-entering my credentials in the routers interface.

Unplugging skytv from our only other active jack point

Replacing the 2 filters we have

Plugging in modem router to another jackpoint (with new filter)

Went out and bought brand new modem router!! - TP-Link TD-W8968

This didn't resolve the problem but email communication with Flip and phone calls resulted in a technician from Chorus making changes at the exchange which seemed to almost fix the problem - reducing the drop outs from what seemed like 100's a day to a handful of times a day. Flip said at the start they could see the connection dropping out from their end and after the technician had made changes (which they didn't advise what changes were made) they could then see a stable connection. The issue seemed to get worse again so finally contacted FLIP a week or so ago. I took note that when we lost the internet connection the ADSL and internet light on the modem router (which is new) goes off. They sent another technician to the exchange but neither FLIP or the technician can see any issues. Because of all the checks we have done with the equipment and having a new modem router, plus the ADSL and internet lights turning off on the modem router when ever the internet connection drops out
