Getting Snap VDSL2 installed next week, I declined their offer for the Fritzbox ($445 IRC) as I prefer to source my own (and their price seemed $$). Snap guy on the line said that most modern Routers would work.. but from checking that out I found thats not true. I was about to buy a Belkin AC1800 Wifi ADSL router however I found it only supports ADSL 1/2+. Anyone know of an available VDSL2 802.11ac router? Alternatively, whats the cheapest 2 unit setup that anyone would recommend (VDSL modem and separate rate 801.11ac Wifi Router). Ive had dubious experience mixing brands of Routers and dedicated modems which is what I wanted an all in one unit. :(
