Hi all,I am looking at these DVB-S or DVB-T set-top boxes with PVR functionality, and if there is no HDD in the box, then you can use an external HDD with an USB enclosure for this purpose. So far, all clear.[1]there is no mentioning of an USB stick as an option, would they accept USB stick? I guess no...[2]is there any chance that you can "trick" the PVR to record on a shared network drive? There are USB/ethernet adapters, you connect the ethernet cable to the computer through an USB port. Can something like this be used to "trick" the PVR to record on a shared network drive (which of course is installed in a different computer). Was something like this ever investigated? Many thanks.
