Mobile / HotSpot / DLNA / etc idea

Hi

Just wondering if anyone has come across something which can do the following in an "all in one type device":

* Provide a mobile access point, eg when plugged into a Car charger

* Has builtin storage (or maybe USB attached SSD)

* Can do DLNA

and can do possibly do a scheduled AutoSync of important data.

Its just an idea Im playing with at the moment as would like to be able to try the following scenario:

* When travelling in the car provide a Wireless Access point (possibly with internet access, but not really important) so that the multitude of wifi enabled devices we now have (eg laptop, tablet, phone etc) can access content (Music, Videos) from a central location for in car entertainment. DLNA would probably be best, but maybe even just remotely viewable drives (eg in Android using ES Explorer)

* We also currently keep an External Hard Drive in the car which contains one of our scheduled backups from the home server/network. Would be mega handy to have it autosync some content (eg photos/music/videos) as well as contain a backup image periodically. In some ways this would save having to grab the drive, sync material or rotate drives around. Wouldnt need to be turned on all the time, but havent thought through the whole "battery run time/ always on" thing much.

Have looked at the Mifi 2373 and it gets close but only uses an SD Card. In some ways its all possibly leaning to an Android device with tethering enabled with maybe a USB Attached HArd Drive ... just means a mess with two power connections?

Luxoft revealed a device last year which look promising, but havent heard much of it since

Any ideas :)
