Hi All,Have just signed up for a 30/10 fibre plan with VF (vodafone) and am having the fibre connected on the 7th.Currently use an Asus DSL-N55U (Can't post links yet so imagine there is one here to manufacturers website :)) with my ADSL2+ connection.Have updated the firmware to the latest version which provides the capability to use one of the four ethernet ports as a wan port. To my knowledge, chorus install an ONT to the inside of my house, which is what connects to the VF provided 'station' which I would rather not use (purely as I spent a small fortune on the current one and wasted many long hours getting it just how I want, setup-wise). The ONT seems to connect directly into the WAN port on the VF router via ethernet. This has got me thinking, that despite the moron salesman asserting that I have to use their router, that i would be just as successful connecting the ONT to my router, and manually entering the connection details if required. So, two questions:Has anyone had this sort of setup working before on a wan-capable router like the one I own.If so, did it require a lot of messing around to configure the settings to have the router connect. Thanks,Dan
