I'm looking at a QNAP HS-210 NAS unit for home use. I am very interested in feedback from anyone who has used one.I'll look at internet reviews as well, but you never really know how genuine those are. I know QNAP have a good reputation generally.This is a fan-less 'silent' NAS. It will be installed in the office or lounge and will also come with us on extended caravan holidays, so it needs to be quiet.Two essential purposes: -1) Backup for my surface pro (64GB)2) DLNA media server: To store CD quality audio files and photo files. I would also store a small number of HD video files. I tend to delete these after I watch them, so would only expect to store say 10 at a time.Not a huge data load. I was planning on installing two WD red HDDs, using one as a mirror, and backing up onto a USB external hard drive for offsite storage.
