domain based emails going into spam

Hi all, first I hope this is the right thread, best I could see. We have a very busy website and do weekly specials and lots and lots of emailing (95% is replying to customers queries) and the odd email goes into their spam, more than is acceptable for my liking. We use snipesoft to host our email but I'm sure its just a forwarder to our gmail account. Is changing to google apps and using their MX records going to change this? Surely not much coming from google would go into spam?Any other ideas? I sent an email to a supplier the other day and it went to their spam causing a long delay in getting an order out to one of our good customers so really need to find a good solution. We don't spam or do any bad online marketing. Our weekly mailout is done via mailchimp and is only customers who have signed up for our weekly mailout. Mailchimp has strong guidelines around all this and we also err on the side of caution so its a very clean list so I doubt its that. Any advice/suggestions greatly appreciated.
